Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) Overview

The TAP program is designed to benefit all school families, regardless of income. Families of WCS earn tuition credits every time they purchase gift cards/certificates that can be used at local and national vendors. If you are already spending money at participating vendors, then the TAP program will benefit you financially.

Waterloo Christian School purchases gift cards/certificates, also known as scrip, from Great Lakes Scrip Center. Your family will receive tuition credit when you purchase certificates from the school (not when you spend the certificate). The gift card and percentage of tuition credit per gift card varies anywhere from 1% to 25%, depending upon the retailer. A complete list of retailers is available at www.shopwithscrip.com and includes the total percentage given to the school. WCS keeps 50% of the savings and the other 50% is given to the family in the form of a tuition credit. Kwik Star is one of the more popular selling gift cards. Below is an example of how the program works:
