Basic Requirements For Acceptance
  • SALVATION:
At least one parent of each child seeking enrollment must give testimony (verbally and in writing) to having accepted Jesus Christ as personal Savior. Terms, such as born-again, saved, or salvation, are all terms which, by definition, mean the same as accepting Jesus Christ as Savior. More precisely, what happens in the process of accepting Christ is that a person, through the convincing power of the Holy Spirit, comes to recognize the fact that they are a lost sinner and in need of a Savior. After recognizing their need, they are then drawn by the Holy Spirit to repentance of their sin, resulting in their asking Christ to come into their heart.

  • HISTORY OF CHURCH ATTENDANCE:
Regular attendance in a Bible-believing, evangelical church. A pastoral reference questionnaire is to be filled out by your pastor. No application will be processed until this reference is on file.

  • APPLICATION:
A completed application form should be on file, from the parent, for grades kindergarten through 12. Additionally, students in grades 6 through 12 must complete the student application form. No application is considered completed until the applicable fees have been paid.

  • BEHAVIOR*:
A past record of school behavior void of serious or re-occurring discipline or behavior problems.

  • TEST DATA*:
Admission to Walnut Ridge Baptist Academy is by testing. Every new student, or former student who has not attended WRBA in the past twelve months, must be tested.

* NOTE: Not applicable to students enrolling in kindergarten.
