Since 1973, Walnut Ridge Baptist Academy has had the privilege of partnering with families in the Waterloo/Cedar Falls and surrounding communities who desire to educate and train their children within the context of a biblical worldview. Quite simply, Jesus Christ is the foundation of everything at Walnut Ridge. To date, over 740 graduates have been equipped to serve God, their families and their communities in a way that brings honor to our Creator.

Today, our school is blessed with over 23 highly qualified and experienced Christian teachers who are committed to fulfilling the mission of the school - to train and nurture children for godliness and excellence through academics, fine arts, athletics and relationships with Christ and others. The Academy is accredited by the State of Iowa and is a member of ACSI, the Association of Christian Schools International.

Since 1991, the Academy has been a fully accredited member of the Iowa High School Athletic Association and the Iowa Girls' High School Athletic Union, as well as the Iowa Star Conference.
